General Business News
Last week split the market in two, with most majors cooling off while a handful of altcoins with news of their own ran hard. BTC slipped back from $87k to around $84k (-2.4%), with much of the top ten following it lower as the 10-year US Treasury yield climbed to its highest level since the financial crisis, pulling money away from risk assets. QNT led the entire top 100 at +273.4% after The Clearing House, the payments network owned by America's biggest banks, chose Quant to run its system for settling tokenized deposits. It briefly cleared $350, putting its 2021 all-time high of $428 back in view, before pulling back to $251. Meanwhile, NEAR rallied to $5.45 on Monday after Bitwise's staking NEAR ETF cleared its final approvals, and even after cooling it sat +156.0% higher on the month. HYPE reached an all-time high near $98 on Wednesday before Binance finally opened spot trading the next day, but lost some steam along with the other top coins to end the week at $88 (-7.0%).
While the top of the market paused, SideShift kept building to achieve a third straight week above both $10m in volume and a shift count of 10,000, cementing its strongest stretch since the summer of 2025. Gross volume added +3.2% to total $10.52m, for a daily average of $1.50m, with user shifting accounting for $7.86m (-2.2%) and liquidity rebalancing the remaining $2.66m (+23.5%). The Liquid network stayed the busiest corner of the site, with USDT (Liquid) claiming both of the top two user pairs once again as it flowed into USDT (ERC-20) and BTC for a combined $1.32m. Further down the list, the NEAR/SOL pair made an unlikely top-five appearance at $230k as NEAR's rally found its way onto SideShift. The big tickets kept pace and sustained the week's volume, with $5.38m moving above $10k (-1.6%) and $2.17m above $50k (+3.3%).

Gross shift count climbed to match, reaching 11,418 (+5.1%) for the busiest period SideShift had seen in about a year. Small shifts anchored the run in that regard, with the last three weeks now holding the year's three biggest sub-$100 counts, summing 6,374 this time around. Growth was spread evenly across every size too, with the smallest band rising +3.4%, alongside identical gains for shifts above $1,000 and above $10k, which reached respective counts of 1,419 and 185.

USDT (Liquid) led the site for a third straight showing, recovering +7.4% to $4.09m, with user deposits of $1.81m dwarfing the $158k settled. USDT (ERC-20) kept the second place it took off BTC seven days earlier at $2.95m (-7.3%), while USDT (Tron) held fifth at $1.31m (+2.0%), just $13.5k clear of USDT (BSC), which rose for a fourth week running to $1.30m (+20.5%). Net stablecoin inflow reached $653k, making it three positive weeks in a row for the first time this year. USDT (Liquid) accounted for all of it and more, bringing in a net $1.66m on its own while the other stablecoins together ran the opposite way.

BTC maintained third place at $2.73m (-7.7%), and last week's modest lean toward buying grew firmer, with users settling $1.31m against $833k deposited. SOL returned to the top five a week after dropping out, and climbed +41.6% to $1.36m as its user settlements jumped +42.7% to $779k, largely thanks to the rush of NEAR/SOL shifts. NEAR’s rally arrived on SideShift all at once, as the coin posted a weekly volume of $706k to rank among our top ten coins. This came after sitting under $3k just a week earlier, and was nearly four times its previous best performance on the site. Further down, DEPIX on Liquid had nearly quadrupled in seven weeks of unbroken growth, reaching $375k (+25.8%).

Alternate networks to Ethereum climbed +11.3% to $6.73m while the Ethereum network itself slipped -15.5% to $5.18m, leaving the alts holding 56.5% of the two groups' combined volume, back above half after last week's 49.7%. The Solana network held first for a second straight week at $2.13m (+32.0%) and pulled clear of the pack, with the gap between first and third growing from $255k to nearly $700k. BSC moved into second at $1.52m (+11.5%), its third straight weekly finish above $1.3m, pushing the Tron network down to third at $1.43m (-1.7%) along the way. Robinhood added +11.9% to $561k for fourth, while Arbitrum climbed +24.6% to $385k and bested a falling Polygon (-23.6%) for fifth by just $1.4k.

Affiliate News
Top affiliates accounted for $3.86m (-11.9%), or 36.7% of the week's total. The podium held its order from a week earlier, with first place cooling -27.8% to $1.48m even as its shift count rose +2.8% to 1,098, and second place slipping -5.2% to $1.20m. Third place kept climbing, setting its fourth straight record at $460k (+18.3%) just a few months after its debut, and again logging more shifts than any other partner with 1,147. Outside the top three, fourth place bounced back and more than doubled to $158k (+132.0%) for its best week in over two months.

That’s all for now - thanks for reading and happy shifting.
